Here Comes the Sydney Summer

IMG_5557The temperature is in the thirties and too hot to do much but I was in the garden at six in the morning and drenched every plant and pot.  6:00 a.m. is the coolest part of the day; it took all night to drop to 22ºC.  By 8:00 a.m. it was already 28ºC (82ºF) and that is in harbour side Sydney.  I can’t bare to think of the temperatures out west.

All I can do is to post these pictures of the garden.

  3. That is so lovely Mary, Deep frosts here in Hampshire, ready for Christmas. Stay cool dear Mary, I don’t think I would survive your Aussie heat. You are obviously so dedicated to your garden to have such a luxurious display in such scorching heat.
