Sarcochilus Sparkles ‘Sparkles’

When I bought a number of tiny orchids from Australian Orchid Nursery recently I thought I would have a long wait before I see any flowers but no, look –

From its 50mm (2 inch) pot emerged a spike with seven buds!

The Sarcochilus is a native orchid of Eastern Australia.  Mine usually lives under the eave on the south (that is the shady side here down under) but I have brought it indoors to enjoy the blooms.
