It’s that time of the year when gardeners are out and about looking for something special to add to their collections. This Sunday I am heading to the Huge Plant Sale in Lane Cove, a twice yearly event that I wrote about in April:
Ang, Ben and I went to a charity plant sale in aid of breast cancer research at Lane Cove today. The best of its type: it was held at a private home. You can see the full grown flowers and shrubs in the garden and buy plants propagated from them.
The Propagating Gardeners. Keith and Maureene raise money for charity each year by working year round to produce thousands of pot plants from hundreds of varieties in their garden.
Even the grasses on the verge looks inviting
A low hedge of camellias instead of a picket fence
There was something for everyone under the house. Ang found a succulent he liked.
Ben bought the pink salvia and I bought the purple and white
If you see something outside you can ask for it inside
All plants were well labelled and in good condition
The next sale will be on Sunday, 9 October…
