Broken Promise

The sun rose and I had a few hours in the garden but by the time my friend and I were sipping our morning coffees it started to rain.  The weather bureau retracted its earlier predictions; now it will be wet, dull and dismal for the rest of the day followed by thunderstorms all afternoon.  However, if we are very very good, we may get nine minutes of sunshine before the end of the day.

It was just as well that I had my iPhone with me while the sun was shinning and took a few photos of my orchard to share:

Love the fruit! Are those dwarf snapdragons? If so, then our gardens have something in common. At the little house in the big woods, I also plant them. Such a perky flower.
