Perfect Day for Gardening

Minimum 17ºC, Maximum 22ºC, Mostly Cloudy–thank you, Weather Maker–though you’ve created most of the work I have to do today.

That rain brought more bamboo shoots to snap; those giant grasses grew a metre a day and would soon swallow up my garden if I don’t keep them in check.  Don’t get me wrong; I like snapping them–more fun than mowing lawns, I’m sure–and the black bamboo is the prettiest and most useful thing here.

That storm–well you know what storms can do, whether you meant it or not.  Please, I’m not complaining so there’s no need to reply.  I hate it when you reply.  No offence.

I think I’ll go and see to those chores now.  Just want to touch base, buddy and thank you for leaving my place in tact.  Hope you have a fun day somewhere else in the world.
