Forty Minus Twenty is Twenty

Yesterday the thermometer went up to 40ºC  (104ºF) in harbour side Sydney; I hate to think how hot it was out west.  People ask me how I can knit in summer; well, the heat was followed by lashing rain and howling winds in the afternoon and the night was mild at 17ºC (62.6ºF).  Right now, it’s 14ºC  (57.2ºF) and won’t nudge past 20ºC (70ºF)today.  The rain never ceased.  Don’t you wish you are here?

Mary, I love how the yarn colors are reflected in the foliage and flowers you pictured and vice versa.

  3. Haha, yay for Australia! Gotta love a country where you can put the air con on one day and the heater the next :)
