Answers to Your Questions

I have not accepted any nominations for awards and thus I have offended some who nominated me.  As an apology, I have furnished the following answers to the latest eleven questions, but I don’t accept awards or perpetuate them:

The kind who makes me despair of ever writing as well.

Staying alive.

What do you love about your blogging?

It’s writing, of sorts.  It’s learning about people around the globe, day to day.  It’s the meeting of minds, sometimes.

What upsets you most about current world affairs?

That people are made to suffer by others’ greed and corruption.  That people who has a say do not exercise their vote to oust bad policies.  That people are manipulated by propaganda because they are too lazy to think.

Where would you like to travel to next?

Somewhere I have never been.

What is your dearest wish at this moment?

Sometimes, both.  Sometimes, neither.

“The kind who makes me despair…” I know this feeling well – the envy of a great line that makes me think I’ll never write anything as good. Yet we persist!

I could never give a favorite author. In fact, I’m very bad with favorites. The only thing I can say with assurance regarding a favorite thing is that my favorite place in Washington DC is Dumbarton Oaks.

There are some blogs that I follow that inspire me to continue and some that make me throw down my pen in frustration at not being good enough.
