Bamboo Song II 竹枝詞之二 by Liu Yu Xi 劉禹錫

This is my English translation of a Chinese poem by Liu Yu Xi.  My reading of the Chinese text is in Cantonese.

The Mount is ablazed with wild peach blossom

The spring water swathes its flow against his side

The flowering withers too soon like his love as

My grief runs deep like the never ending spring
