Koolandilly Dawn

Black and white ink wash

transforms to water colour

early birds take flight

Grey clouds tinge with pink

pale blue sky appears behind

green leaves come in focus

Small birds battle with songs

whistles in semi-quavers

chirps in semi-breves

Perfect reflections

ducks glide calmly on mirror

chainsaw shatters spell
