A Good Burger

The other day I picked up a package from the post office; in it was a wad of old newspaper clippings about Istanbul!   I am going to spend a month there in May and hungry for information about the place.  I couldn’t wait to read them so instead of going home, I sat down at my local burger joint and ate lunch as I read. Burger and beer is not the recommended diet for a diabetic but I was feeling indulgent.

At Ribs & Burgers in Neutral Bay they do a decent burger, though the price has gone up 10% – now $11 instead of $10.  They also do great chips but the servings are massive so I didn’t order any.  As I was leaving I noticed that a lady who sat near me had left half her burger and half her chips behind.  Note to self:  next time bring a friend to share.  Jan,  if you are reading this, thanks for the Istanbul clippings;  you are invited to my next burger binge.

As to the burger, I can only give it 9/10; the sesame seeds were unevenly distributed on the top of the bun.
